This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the International HR Systems Integration team in developing scalable data integration and deployment solutions for worldwide, multi-country HR systems.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with domestic Core HR teams to enhance and extend product capabilities.

• Design and execute modular, well-structured systems that efficiently scale.

• Drive technical strategy, best practices, and impactful technical initiatives across various teams and departments.

• Architect solutions that balance immediate requirements with long-term considerations.

• Own and deliver large-scale project features that demonstrate high reliability and performance.

• Delegate tasks effectively, prioritize multiple high-impact projects, and foster team development.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges.

• Uphold standards for code quality, performance, and observability.

• Lead code reviews and engage in technical design discussions.

• Champion automation and process enhancements.

• Mentor and coach team members while promoting continuous improvement within the team.

• Build strong relationships and alignment across engineering teams and departments.

• Drive technical decisions, foster consensus, and address conflicts constructively.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering.

• Demonstrated success in leading substantial technical initiatives.

• In-depth understanding of distributed systems and scalability patterns.

• Strong expertise in software architecture and system design.

• Experience in designing and constructing data pipelines, integration layers, and ETL tools.

• Proficiency in performance optimization and observability across diverse systems.

• Expertise in multiple programming languages and technologies.

• Proficient in C#/.NET.

• Familiar with Ruby.

• Strong grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and testing strategies.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and release management processes.

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.

• Strong problem-solving skills and complex integration troubleshooting abilities.

• Experience with API design and consumption patterns.

• Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours a day.

• Capability to operate computer and phone systems, type, and utilize multiple software programs simultaneously.
