This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a team of engineers focused on the development and design of products aimed at both customers and associates.

• Design, implement, maintain, and provide support for production applications.

• Aid in the selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and monitoring of production tools and products.

• Contribute reusable foundational code components, architectural diagrams, and documentation related to products.

• Create test suites, including functional and destructive tests, to facilitate quick deployment to production.

• Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure user stories are well-prepared for developers, clear, and testable.

• Work alongside team members within agile methodologies.

• Address inquiries from product and engineering teams.

• Mentor and support junior engineers in modern software development practices and technical discussions.

• Recognize team deficiencies and propose changes to enhance productivity.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field is necessary.

• In-depth experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java.

• Experience with either relational or NoSQL database technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud computing methodologies.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and contemporary software design patterns.

• Experience in effective data modeling for both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of security frameworks for user and service authorization and authentication.

• Proven experience in creating and executing unit, functional, destructive, and performance tests.

• Proficiency in modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques.

• Experience using version control systems.

• Skilled in designing systems for high availability, disaster recovery, performance, efficiency, and security.

• Familiarity with developing technical roadmaps, including work estimation, refactoring, and modernizing legacy systems.

• Experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and promoting the adoption of tools, processes, or platforms across multiple teams.

• Knowledge of AI-driven development, automation, or intelligent systems that enhance engineering productivity, testing, and operational efficiency.

• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence engineering teams, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders and leadership.
