Staff Software Engineer – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to convert business challenges into AI-driven solutions.

• Design, implement, and incorporate AI features into the existing 8am product line.

• Partner with the Data team to ensure the collection, enrichment, preparation, and staging of data for AI utilization.

• Develop and assess AI-powered services from customer-facing prototypes to full availability.

• Write high-quality Python code for data manipulation, interaction with large language models, and performance evaluation.

• Create tools and infrastructure for dependable, scalable, and secure AI deployment.

• Collaborate with the cloud operations team to deploy AI features, monitor their effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, preferably in full stack SaaS application development or backend.

• Proven experience in building and deploying production-ready AI/ML services at scale.

• Practical knowledge of LLM frameworks, platforms, evaluations, and associated tools.

• Strong skills in Python or an equivalent modern technology stack.

• Familiarity with data manipulation and evaluation processes.

• Experience in constructing scalable data infrastructure and integrating models into larger SaaS systems.

• Experience working in AWS cloud environments or equivalent, along with modern DevOps practices.

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI tools and technologies to enhance workflows, improve decision-making, or foster innovation.
