Staff Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain scalable, rule-based decision solutions.

• Enhance critical business operations through enterprise decision-making and automation.

• Collaborate with IBM automation and AI platforms, including ODM, BAM OE, Watsonx Orchestrate, IBM ADS, and AI-assisted development tools.

• Play a key role in modernization, reusability, and intelligent automation efforts.

• Establish enterprise-grade application alerting, monitoring, and dashboards.

• Utilize JUnit, decision runner, test-driven development, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Work together and document solutions within an enterprise engineering setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of practical experience with IBM ODM.

• Proficient in Rule Designer, Decision Center, and Rule Execution Server.

• Strong grasp of SOA/API-based architectures.

• Familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation.

• Working knowledge of IBM Automation Decision Services (ADS).

• Exposure to IBM BAM OE and workflow/decision integrations.

• Knowledge of WatsonX Orchestrate or similar orchestration tools.

• Understanding of containerized platforms and cloud environments.

• Experience in implementing enterprise-grade application alerting, monitoring, and dashboards.

• Proficient with JUnit, decision runner, test-driven development, and CI/CD practices.

• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities.

• Preferred experience in the healthcare domain.

• Preferred experience in enabling or supporting business users on decision-making platforms.

• Preferred exposure to AI and automation projects in enterprise environments.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High school diploma plus 4 years of relevant work experience).
