Staff Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain enterprise workloads on cloud platforms.

• Engage in hands-on engineering related to infrastructure, cloud automation, and operations.

• Ensure that cloud environments are secure, scalable, and ready for production.

• Collaborate with teams focused on Cloud Enablement, security, infrastructure, and applications.

• Deliver consistent cloud capabilities that support the modernization of enterprise applications and data platforms.

• Design and implement effective and scalable solutions that align with business requirements and quality standards.

• Contribute to discussions about solution design and architecture alongside architects and senior engineers.

• Provide insights on technical feasibility, performance enhancements, and scalability.

• Take part in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines.

• Communicate and coordinate with team members to align efforts, provide technical insights, and facilitate decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development for enterprise/web applications.

• More than 5 years of full stack development experience utilizing Java-based technologies, including microservices/REST.

• At least 5 years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or other public cloud services.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working within Agile development methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience.

• Alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED along with 4 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred: experience in supporting early-stage enterprise cloud platforms.

• Preferred: certifications from AWS or other cloud service providers.

• Preferred: experience in supporting initiatives for application modernization or cloud migration.
