This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee information technology operations for multiple MRO facilities throughout the United States.
• Take responsibility for the performance, reliability, and availability of local IT systems and applications.
• Ensure secure, stable, and compliant operations at all supported locations.
• Collaborate with shop teams to implement digital enhancements.
• Execute the strategic plan for digital improvements in IT infrastructure and applications.
• Influence decision-making among LPBs and lower-level staff.
• Act as a representative of information technology within the Shop leadership team.
• Collaborate with the business on lean initiatives and process improvements, leveraging digital tools for transformation.
• Maintain an understanding of business applications and the overall workflow at supported sites.
• Utilize knowledge of the digital product catalog to enhance site operations.
• Engage in machine instrumentation projects.
• Monitor performance of WAN, LAN, and WLAN and escalate any issues as necessary.
• Build connections with Central DT product teams to address networking and application challenges.
• Initiate projects aimed at technology obsolescence and enhancements.
• Acquire new tools, integrate innovative methods, and drive better results.
• Plan implementation activities in conjunction with change champions.
• Set up monitoring and feedback systems.
• Gather suggestions for enhancing primary business processes.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with at least 4 years of professional experience, OR an associate degree with a minimum of 7 years of professional experience, OR a high school diploma with at least 9 years of professional experience.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT.
• Military experience can be considered equivalent to professional experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
• Must possess extensive knowledge of IT disciplines, including computing, networking, and storage platforms.
• Strong technical foundation in infrastructure technologies is required.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% as necessary to support other sites.
