This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design the security architecture for Unity's products and services in collaboration with engineering and platform teams.
• Identify technical risks and establish coherent target architectures.
• Lead teams towards achieving secure-by-design outcomes.
• Involve in high-priority product and service launches from initial design through to release.
• Ensure comprehensive security measures are implemented and engage with ProdSec, SecOps, Offensive Security, and Infrastructure Security specialists.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments on the design, launch, and configuration of AI features across vendor and third-party products.
• Establish security architecture for Unity's AI-native products, including LLM integrations, agent workflows, and AI-assisted development toolchains.
• Contribute to the security team’s tooling and automation efforts.
• Provide guidance on the design, integration, and scalability of security review, guidance, and detection automation within developer workflows.
• Engage in prototyping ideas with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Evaluate risk posture and counsel leadership on remediation and risk-reduction priorities.
• Collaborate with Engineering Services to create secure paved roads for modern engineering practices.
• Over 10 years of experience in security, with significant tenure in security architecture, principal, or staff engineering roles involving complex, large-scale systems.
• Proven expertise in AI security, including hands-on architecture or security work on LLM-based products, agentic systems, or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Implementation-level comprehension of AI and agentic systems.
• Practical engineering skills to build, prototype, and enhance systems.
• Strong depth in cloud security across GCP, AWS, or Azure, including identity management, workload security, and CI/CD security.
• Solid understanding of secure architecture patterns, including enterprise customer and auditor expectations.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineers and non-technical partners across various regions.
• Proficient in English for professional verbal and written communication.
• Experience in securing developer platforms, build systems, or CI/CD at scale is a plus.
• Background in gaming, ad tech, or large developer-facing platforms is advantageous.
