This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +10 more states.
• Conduct virtual consultations (audio and video as necessary) to evaluate patients' health conditions, objectives, and dietary limitations, while monitoring dietary habits and progress, and offering guidance on how to sustain a balanced diet while providing exceptional clinical care.
• Employ Teladoc-approved resources for member-facing support materials and programs, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Make referrals to other specialists as required, whether they are on or off the platform.
• Exhibit and apply knowledge of additional services available to members, both internally at Teladoc and externally with health plans or community services.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and protocols that Teladoc and its Quality Assurance Committee may implement from time to time, including relevant Nutrition service line policies and procedures.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure thorough and accurate record-keeping is completed within 24 hours following a member visit.
• Candidates must possess an active license and be credentialed in one or more of the following states: Washington, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Utah, Nevada, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wyoming.
• A minimum of five active licenses is required at the time of hire.
• Required license or credential for the position: Licensed Dietitian (LD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).
• Maintain all state RD licensure in the relevant specialty.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed RD/RDN working autonomously.
• Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including documentation using the Assessment, Diagnoses, Intervention, and Monitoring/Evaluation (ADIME) process.
• Capability to quickly establish rapport using the necessary skills for a virtual consultation platform.
• 8 hours of PTO per semi-monthly pay period.
