Staff Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the product definition for a new AI coaching feature within Samsung Health.

• Take ownership of the complete coaching experience, behavior modeling, and decision-making logic.

• Determine the responses of the AI coach and establish when it should remain silent.

• Create actionable product definitions suitable for distributed teams.

• Specify interfaces, contracts, schemas, ownership, and failure management across organizational boundaries.

• Assess the quality of coaching, focusing on aspects such as helpfulness, personalization, and the supportive nature of the coaching.

• Establish the release scope, including acceptable limitations for the initial version.

• Provide daily guidance to team members, even in the absence of direct reports.

• Collaborate with teams across Europe, Asia, and North America.

• Report directly to the Head of Product.

• Proven experience in transforming a consumer product from an unclear concept to market launch.

• Accountability for product outcomes and experience with real user engagement.

• Capability to define products starting from ambiguous initial concepts.

• Proficiency in writing, sketching, and prototyping product definitions.

• Skill in identifying and articulating the principles behind user experience failures.

• Ability to craft coherent product experiences by integrating features, screens, models, and constraints.

• Understanding of AI product contexts, including model inputs, timing, format, and acceptable-answer standards.

• Experience in making product decisions regarding cuts or discontinuations.

• Strong writing abilities, encompassing specifications, one-pagers, and decision documents.

• Competence in decision-making with partial information and risk management.

• Ability to foresee requirements across various organizations, locations, and languages.

• Experience navigating platform, regulatory, parent-company, or enterprise-partner constraints.

• Familiarity with discovery, delivery, evaluation, and decision-making in diverse company environments.
