Staff Product Engineer, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee the development of a HubSpot integration

• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and RevOps stakeholders

• Design a configurable, bidirectional synchronization platform

• Lead a small engineering team consisting of one staff engineer, one mid-level engineer, and one junior engineer

⛳️ Requirements

• API: Proficiency in REST, GraphQL, and Hasura

• Backend: Experience with Python, Django, and Celery

• Data: Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Integrations: Familiarity with HubSpot API (webhooks + REST), Stripe, and an expanding range of internal tools (with ClickUp next)

• Hosting & Testing: Experience with Vercel and AWS

• CI/CD: Proficient in GitHub Actions

• Version Control: Skilled in Git and GitHub

• AI / LLM Tooling: Knowledge of Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, CodeRabbit, Glean, and Codex
