This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
β’ Define and implement product design for various growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with user requirements, business objectives, and essential growth metrics (activation, engagement, retention, monetization).
β’ Collaborate closely with product, engineering, data analysts, and marketing teams to establish, test, and refine growth hypotheses β creating high-quality experiences that are both functional and enjoyable.
β’ Work alongside Deel UI stakeholders to advance the design system strategy. You will advocate for consistency and innovation while addressing Growth-specific requirements through the thoughtful application of motion, including animations, micro-interactions, and transitions.
β’ Swiftly design, prototype, and evaluate new features. Utilize A/B testing frameworks and data insights to confirm hypotheses and enhance user journeys, providing insightful solutions amidst uncertainty.
β’ Mentor Product Designers by offering constructive feedback to promote their growth. Lead design practice rituals and create new standards that improve team efficiency.
β’ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify friction points and implement enhancements that simplify the user journey and team processes.
β’ Navigate ambiguity effectively, balancing user and business needs to develop solutions that are both impactful and strategic.
β’ Unite people through inspiring design and storytelling, fostering alignment across teams.
β’ 5β7 years of experience as a Product Designer, with a minimum of 2 years as a Staff Product Designer (or equivalent), and proven experience in growth design.
β’ Strong skills in UI, UX, and visual design, with a history of creating functional yet delightful experiences, including advanced prototyping techniques such as progressive disclosure.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of product metrics, user behavior analytics, and A/B testing. Familiarity with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar. A portfolio demonstrating experimentation work and measurable outcomes β ideally showcasing onboarding flows, virality features, pricing pages, or subscription models.
β’ Interest in AI and emerging technologies; experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product experiences, or using AI tools as part of your design workflow. A portfolio that includes examples related to AI-powered features, AI-assisted workflows, or experiments with AI tools.
β’ Design work grounded in ideation, experimentation, and evidence β employing qualitative and quantitative data to ensure recommendations are consistently supported by measurable insights.
β’ Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality; knows when to dive deep and when to execute β action-oriented.
β’ Skilled in bringing people together, fostering strong relationships, and achieving alignment across teams. Inspires through design and storytelling.
β’ Experience mentoring Product Designers, helping them to learn, grow, and advance in their careers.
β’ Cultivates strong relationships with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.
β’ Deeply integrated within development teams, working from ideation to design QA β facilitating and unblocking the team.
