Senior UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Senior UI/UX Expert to become a part of our vibrant team.

• Deliver subject matter expertise in UX design, providing strategic direction rooted in Human-Centered Design and design thinking methodologies, which include user research, personas, journey mapping, prototyping, mockups, and usability assessment.

• Develop and present a User Experience (UX) Research Plan and Outcomes for each specific use case.

• Facilitate discovery initiatives, encompassing generative research with users and business stakeholders, evaluating current related features, conducting content assessments, reviewing information architecture, performing accessibility reviews, analyzing business processes, and collecting available data and analytics.

• Collaborate with other Product Teams to ensure that the new tool or service seamlessly integrates into the existing framework.

• Oversee the design and development of user interfaces for various applications, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly, and efficient.

• Provide clear and actionable interface design specifications to development teams.

• Design dynamic forms and other intricate UI components.

• Establish and maintain UX frameworks and templates for developers to utilize during the coding phase.

• Assist in design synthesis activities and generate insights along with opportunities for enhancement.

• Carry out usability testing sessions to collect feedback on designs and apply findings to refine them.

⛳️ Requirements

• Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, strong communication abilities, and knowledge of Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML).

• Experience: 5+ years in relevant fields.

• US Citizenship Required: No.

• MA/MS degree plus over 10 years of general experience in information systems, including 8+ years of specialized experience.

• Familiarity with front-end development, particularly in ReactJS and JavaScript.

• Understanding of UX, information architecture, content strategy, and best practices in user-centered design.

• Experience in designing software that aligns with strategic business objectives and requirements.

• Experience in conducting research for advanced technologies to determine how IT can meet business needs through software, hardware, or infrastructure.

• Proficient in Figma or other related design tools.

• Experience with usability testing tools.

• Proven history of delivering scalable and reliable software solutions.

• A portfolio showcasing expertise in UI/UX design and relevant projects.

• In-depth knowledge of Section 508 requirements and experience designing interfaces that comply with these standards.

• Excellent communication skills, with the capability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.

• Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment.
