📋 Description

• Create the Operating System that drives the credit collections sector.

• Oversee Aktos's AWS infrastructure.

• Design and implement scalable and maintainable backend functionalities.

• Construct scalable and maintainable API/SFTP integrations.

• Monitor and resolve issues related to Postgres databases, including indexes and partitioning/sharding.

• Manage developer environments efficiently.

• Oversee CI pipelines and runners.

• Establish and maintain alerting systems.

• Offer on-call support and assist developers in issue triage.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.

• 2+ years of professional SRE/DevOps experience.

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and enhancing Kubernetes clusters through Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), with a preference for Terraform.

• Professional expertise in Python (2+ years required).

• Strong foundational understanding and practical experience with a relational database management system (RDBMS), preferably Postgres.

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS.

• Solid engineering principles and a commitment to producing high-quality code.

• Ability to intuit product needs, empathize with users, and make sound UX decisions.

• Strong work ethic and a mindset of end-to-end ownership.

• Proficiency in Python/Django (Django experience required).

• Experience in Python and database performance optimization (required).

• Demonstrated experience with API/SFTP integrations.

• Background in feature development.

• Comfort with AWS and managing EKS (Kubernetes on AWS).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitHub Actions, AWS, Postgres, and Redis.
