Staff Graphic Designer, Print & Packaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Direct the conceptualization and design of cutting-edge packaging solutions from the initial idea to final production files for both domestic and international markets.

• Develop designs and layouts that are consistent with brand identity, meet consumer expectations, and enhance shelf presence.

• Create and execute packaging strategies that effectively convey product benefits and set products apart in global markets.

• Collaborate with regional teams to tailor layouts, imagery, and messaging to fit local preferences, languages, and regulatory requirements, all while ensuring global brand consistency.

• Prepare and oversee production files, which include dielines, finishes, colors, and print specifications.

• Supervise production processes, review proofs, and participate in press checks.

• Work in partnership with production, supply chain, brand, and marketing teams.

• Present design concepts and their rationale to internal stakeholders.

• Liaise with printers and packaging vendors to resolve production challenges.

• Manage feedback and revisions based on team input, regional insights, and consumer feedback.

• Maintain schedules, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects and concurrent regional workstreams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of professional design experience, particularly in print and/or packaging design.

• A robust portfolio showcasing typographic skills, layout proficiency, and print design expertise.

• Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma.

• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, dieline/structural design, and color management.

• Understanding of regulatory and labeling requirements, including international and regional packaging and labeling standards.

• Capability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.

• Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong organizational and communication abilities.

• Creative problem-solving skills from concept development to execution.

• Experience with Keyshot or another 3D visualization tool is preferred.

• Familiarity with collaborating with regional or international teams to adapt design work is an advantage.
