Staff Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Seeq develops state-of-the-art data analytics software tailored for industrial process data.

• Participate in the creation of a robust calculation engine capable of performing advanced mathematical computations and machine learning algorithms.

• Collaborate using platforms such as Zoom, Slack, and our proprietary Qube Virtual Office.

• Engage in pair programming and conduct code reviews.

• Design visually appealing interfaces for our Typescript + React application.

• Take charge of development initiatives and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.

• Significant professional experience in software development, demonstrating a history of designing, building, and enhancing complex software systems over several years.

• Showcase a strong grasp of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Proficiency in developing large-scale React applications utilizing TypeScript.

• Expertise in one or more backend programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.

• Experience in creating and deploying generative AI infrastructure and/or applications.

• Capability to work efficiently across both frontend and backend codebases, taking ownership of features from start to finish.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the capacity to guide and mentor junior engineers.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools, including Scrum or Kanban.
