Staff Full-stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), and data architecture.

• Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, enterprise architecture and design patterns, web technologies, designing and building distributed HPC and ML systems, cloud computing, and data architecture.

• Preferred: 10+ years of professional coding experience in widely-used languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.

• Preferred: 8+ years of experience with databases and database management systems.

• Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience throughout the entire system development lifecycle.

• Preferred: 5+ years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.

• Preferred: 10+ years of experience with networking protocols and third-party distributed-system integration.

• Preferred: 5+ years mentoring senior engineers and fostering professional development within technical teams.

• Preferred: 2+ years leading cross-domain architectural reviews and setting coding and design standards.

• Expertise in the strategic use of agentic AI coding tools.
