This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the frontend technical roadmap, making pivotal decisions regarding state management, component libraries, and build tools to facilitate Archy’s growth.
• Lead the launch of significant frontend features and product enhancements. You will oversee the production lifecycle of your domains, ensuring a smooth and bug-free experience for our dental practices.
• Incorporate AI tools (like Claude) into your daily development routine to enhance efficiency. You should excel at leveraging AI to support your work while maintaining the role of the "architect," retaining full control over the logic, security, and architectural ramifications of the code. Use AI effectively to manage repetitive tasks, allowing you to concentrate on complex state management, performance optimization, and user experience.
• Play a vital role in crafting and refining the AI-driven interfaces that our customers utilize, ensuring that our new product updates are user-friendly and high-performing.
• Design and supervise the smooth integration between our Java Spring Boot backend and React/TypeScript frontend to guarantee high performance and system reliability.
• Engage in and lead code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to support continuous team improvement.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance team efficiency and work towards implementing those enhancements.
• Estimate and plan development efforts for projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience as a frontend engineer, with a strong focus on producing clean, quality code.
• Proficient in React and TypeScript, with Tailwind being a plus.
• Extensive experience in managing releases and monitoring frontend health within a live production environment.
• Capability to articulate when and how to utilize AI to boost velocity without compromising the long-term maintainability of the React codebase.
• A strong emphasis on testing, stability, and performance to ensure our platform remains robust for our users.
