This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a technical expert interacting directly with customers regarding Hivemind autonomy solutions.
• Assist in customer discovery, technical briefings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings, and capture efforts.
• Convert customer mission requirements, CONOPs, operational goals, and integration challenges into convincing Hivemind solution concepts.
• Collaborate with Business Development and Capture teams on RFIs, RFPs, proposals, white papers, demos, and technical narratives aimed at customers.
• Articulate Hivemind's capabilities, limitations, roadmap considerations, and integration needs to diverse audiences.
• Create and sustain technical sales materials, including capability briefs, demo scripts, solution templates, FAQs, white papers, and briefing documents.
• Work together with Product, Engineering, Customer Engagement, and Program teams on requirements, risks, roadmap gaps, and field feedback.
• Assist customers in assessing autonomy for operational efficiency, mission planning, force modernization, and fielded mission results.
• Ensure that customer-facing documents accurately represent current capabilities, constraints, and roadmap timelines.
• Keep abreast of advancements in autonomy, AI, unmanned systems, mission software, and defense technologies.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Function autonomously across complex customer engagements while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in solutions engineering, field applications engineering, systems engineering, technical sales, autonomy, robotics, defense software, aerospace, or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Solid technical knowledge of autonomy, AI-enabled systems, mission software, unmanned systems, robotics, or sophisticated defense technology systems.
• Experience in supporting customer-facing technical interactions, such as demos, briefings, proposal assistance, integration discussions, technical interchange meetings, or operational workshops.
• Capacity to translate customer mission needs into technically viable solution concepts, requirements, demos, and product feedback.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for technical, operational, commercial, and leadership audiences.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Engagement, and Program teams.
• Strong judgment in presenting product capabilities, limitations, and roadmap dependencies.
• Proven ability to foster trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Capability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel for customer engagements, demonstrations, exercises, and internal meetings.
• Preferred: prior experience in military, defense, aerospace, robotics, unmanned systems, or advanced technology sectors.
• Preferred: direct experience with U.S. Navy or U.S. Air Force customers, programs, or operational units.
• Preferred: familiarity with autonomous systems and autonomy workflows, mission planning, system integration, and operational evaluation.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with Python, C++, Linux, APIs, SDKs, autonomy software, robotics middleware, or technical prototyping.
