Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Carry out customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Service and repair electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.

• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues, proactively addressing problems when possible.

• Communicate with customers in a transparent, helpful, and professional manner aimed at resolution.

• Engage in both virtual and hands-on training programs offered by NCR Atleos.

• Adhere to NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.

• Perform additional duties that align with qualifications and business needs.

• May be reassigned to neighboring service territories during standard shifts to meet operational requirements.

• May choose to participate in overnight travel assignments to enhance service coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate residing in the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 19 years.

• Valid driver's license and driving record that comply with NCR Atleos fleet standards.

• Proficient PC skills, basic electronic abilities, and familiarity with operating systems.

• Capability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged travel with several hours of driving each day.

• Willingness to work rotating and weekend shifts.

• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Proficient in bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and performing repetitive hand movements with various objects.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification is preferred.

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
