Field Service Technician – Appliance Repair

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Travel to customer locations to conduct maintenance and repairs on LG's equipment.

• Utilize all provided safety equipment (PPE), company vehicles, and diagnostic tools from LG.

• Perform technical diagnosis and execute specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.

• Identify issues, evaluate their severity, document findings, and determine whether to repair products or replace parts.

• Complete paperwork and enter data promptly and accurately after each service call.

• Pre-screen next-day service requests by gathering information to assist in diagnosing issues prior to arriving at customers' residences.

• Achieve or surpass company metrics, including customer satisfaction, first-time fix rates, revisit rates, parts management, and overtime percentages.

• Represent LG with professionalism while providing an outstanding in-home customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a technical position (Field Service preferred).

• Proficient in repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).

• Familiarity with tools and diagnostic testing equipment.

• Ability to effectively troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and document product/system issues.

• Valid driver's license in good standing.

• Capability to obtain the necessary EPA Certification.

• Able to meet the physical demands typically associated with field service repair, including continuous bending and lifting weights of up to 50 pounds.
