Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establishing the technical direction across a domain or multiple teams, rather than focusing solely on a single codebase.

• Tackling the most challenging and ambiguous issues and steering them towards effective solutions.

• Elevating engineering standards — including architecture, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.

• Guiding senior engineers and supporting their development into the next phase of their careers.

• Collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership to define roadmaps and technical strategies.

• Writing code when it is essential, while also recognizing when it is unnecessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership at scale, preferably with Staff/Principal-level expertise (or Senior engineers demonstrating that capability).

• Strong systems thinking — able to switch between high-level architecture and intricate debugging with ease.

• Exceptional communication skills; capable of influencing others without relying solely on authority.

• A preference for practical solutions over ideal ones.

• A genuine curiosity and a history of continuous learning.
