Staff Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Guide engineering teams in the creation of software applications utilizing relevant technologies.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members in software delivery as a subject matter expert.

• Take ownership of comprehensive solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape and influence the vision for addressing intricate enterprise application challenges.

• Ensure solutions meet high standards of quality, usability, and performance.

• Facilitate design sessions and conduct code reviews.

• Employ .NET, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure tools and services throughout the SDLC.

• Deliver software within Agile environments, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.

• Implement infrastructure as code while utilizing PowerShell, operations portals, and monitoring tools.

• Share best practices and enhance processes across teams.

• Provide training on systems to team members.

• Offer occasional 24x7 on-call production support.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or six years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role.

• Four years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related position for candidates following the bachelor’s degree pathway.

• Three years of experience in building solution/system architecture and design.

• Three years of experience with DevOps principles.

• Three years of experience in Cloud Architecture.

• Three years of experience with the Azure DevOps operational framework.

• Three years of experience in a cloud engineering or cloud development setting.

• Two years of experience with Azure Network/Salesforce.

• Two years of experience with open-source frameworks, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Angular, or Express.

• Familiarity with .NET, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure tools and services, Agile delivery, infrastructure as code, and PowerShell.

• Strong communication skills.
