Staff Endpoint Software Engineer, Prompt, Python, OS Internals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance sensor components to achieve a compact system footprint, exceptional performance, minimal resource usage, and optimal reliability across various customer environments.

• Advance Agentic AI functionalities by participating in the design of adaptive policy logic, refining decision-making engines, and broadening platform coverage.

• Create endpoint and browser security components, integrating them into the platform for real-time detection of GenAI threats and safeguarding data.

• Take ownership of customer-facing technical issues from start to finish by diagnosing production problems, replicating and resolving them swiftly, and ensuring that customers remain unblocked.

• Convert business strategies and roadmap insights into engineering choices that propel the business forward.

• Collaborate effectively with security engineering, QA, product, and customer-facing teams.

• Keep abreast of advancements in GenAI and platform security, incorporating relevant developments into sensors, agents, and extensions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Python, Node.js, or a similar programming language.

• Experience in macOS and Windows Endpoint Security.

• Strong understanding of OS architecture and internals.

• A customer-oriented mindset with the capability to identify and resolve issues in real-world scenarios.

• Awareness of business and product dynamics, showing interest in the roadmap, market landscape, and customer needs.

• A sense of accountability and a growth-oriented mindset.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.

• Experience in developing browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, etc.) is a plus.
