• Travel to enterprise client locations (around 50% of the time) to conduct Temporal DevDays, our premier on-site technical enablement program customized to each account's specific use cases, architecture, and adoption stage.
• Prepare and facilitate hands-on labs, architectural walkthroughs, and workshop sessions that empower enterprise engineering teams to build confidently using Temporal.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Account Executives, and Customer Success teams to scope and prepare for each engagement, ensuring successful outcomes.
• Contribute sample applications, lab exercises, and reusable materials back to the community DevDays content library.
• Conduct train-the-trainer sessions when applicable.
• Host regular enterprise office hours.
• Present webinars on topics relevant to enterprises, including complex workflow patterns, AI-driven agentic backends, observability, scalability, and platform integrations.
• Partner with the DevDays program owner, DevRel, and field teams to identify the most pertinent topics and formats for enterprise audiences.
• Speak at and participate in industry conferences, enterprise developer events, and meetups that cater to the enterprise engineering community.
• Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, architectural guides, diagrams, and videos.
• Gather structured feedback from DevDays sessions, office hours, and enterprise engagements to identify product gaps, developer experience issues, and adoption challenges.
• Over 7 years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on distributed systems.
• Proficiency in one or more Temporal SDK languages (Python, Go, Java, TypeScript), along with a solid understanding of distributed systems, state management, and workflow execution concepts.
• Proven ability to lead technical workshops, hands-on labs, or enablement sessions for senior engineering audiences.
• Experience directly engaging with enterprise engineering organizations, with insights into how large teams adopt and scale developer tools.
• Experience in mentoring others, either formally or informally.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50%, both domestically and internationally.
