Staff Data Scientist, Machine Learning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement machine learning solutions

• Create large language models (LLMs)

• Develop the AI infrastructure to streamline complex data analytics workflows

• Drive the AI stack roadmap from opportunity assessment and prototyping to evaluation, deployment, and impact measurement

• Ensure strong performance, validation, and real-time model inference

• Set standards for model development, LLM evaluation, observability, security, and cost management

• Mentor analysts and develop reusable tools to enhance predictive problem-solving capabilities

• Simplify intricate technical work into clear recommendations and trade-offs for senior stakeholders

• Coordinate stakeholders with diverse priorities and foster clarity in uncertain situations

• Revolutionize business decision-making and analytics delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in analytics, LLMs, data science, and applied machine learning

• Proven history of managing business-facing solutions

• Experience in developing real-time anomaly detection models and large-scale data processing systems

• Ability to address business challenges through predictive and prescriptive modeling, including price sensitivity, churn, revenue forecasting, and marketing mix optimization

• Familiarity with identity threat signals and deviations from historical user behavior

• Expertise in managing AI service costs and relevance

• Experience in creating AI agents for automated analysis and generating explainable insights

• Strong foundation in segmentation, root cause analysis, funnel optimization, and acquisition quality scoring

• Capability to navigate unfamiliar domains independently

• Background in fast-paced, data-centric environments or startups where ML influences business results

• Proficient in Python, SQL, statistical analysis, and popular ML frameworks

• Extensive knowledge of MLOps, including feature engineering, deployment, inference, and monitoring

• Skilled in LLM APIs, RAG, Semantic Layers, Embeddings, and agent orchestration frameworks

• Experience in constructing robust ML pipelines for real-time and asynchronous predictions

• Exceptional business insight and clarity of thought

• Driven by curiosity with a focus on details and strategic vision

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Must reside in and be authorized to work in India
