• Develop and implement scalable, dependable strategies to facilitate or automate decision-making processes across the organization.
• Utilize data science methodologies and specialized knowledge to address complex business challenges and ambiguous scenarios.
• Gather data by constructing SQL/ETL queries and import procedures for S3, RedShift, and Spark storage solutions.
• Examine data for trends and assess validity, including distributions, bivariate relationships, transformations, and anomalies.
• Create statistical, mathematical, econometric, network, social network, natural language processing, machine learning, genetic algorithm, and neural network models.
• Assess models against different methodologies, anticipated and actual outcomes, and business key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Execute models that satisfy computational demands, accuracy, and reliability criteria throughout production ETL phases.
• Implement cutting-edge generative AI and machine learning algorithms, develop prototypes, resolve customer issues, and investigate new solutions.
• Engage with customers and the academic community to foster innovation and provide customized data science solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and convert business requirements into data science solutions.
• Work collaboratively with engineering, analytics, AI, and product teams.
• Present findings and model outcomes to non-technical executive audiences.
• Establish best practices and modeling standards in data science.
• Provide mentorship to junior and mid-level data scientists.
• Utilize Claude, Cursor, and other contemporary AI assistants to produce high-quality work promptly.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a data scientist.
• A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of direct experience with generative AI technology.
• Over 5 years of experience in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel/distributed computing, high-performance computing, neural deep learning methods, and/or machine learning.
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with Python, including building, training, and evaluating models.
• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Exceptional communication skills with non-technical executive audiences and the ability to convert complex models into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, SAS, Matlab, or similar querying, scripting, statistical, or mathematical software.
• Familiarity with statistical models such as logistic regression and supervised learning.
• Expert-level day-to-day knowledge of AI-focused coding tools like Claude and Cursor.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in navigating ambiguous technical and business challenges.
• Experience with advanced machine learning frameworks and cloud-based data science platforms is advantageous.
• Experience with healthcare data is a plus.
• AWS certifications are highly preferred.
• Experience with generative AI applications on AWS, including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon SageMaker.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and evaluating LLM-powered agents, tools, and orchestration methods.
• Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing prompts and templates for LLMs.
• Familiarity with Strands, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Practical experience in building cloud applications.
• A successful background check may be required.
