Senior Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and implement statistical modeling and analysis tailored to business-level problem specifications.

• Lead experimentation and A/B testing to assess business hypotheses and guide decision-making.

• Conduct ad hoc and in-depth analytics to address business inquiries, reveal insights, and pinpoint opportunities.

• Analyze intricate raw datasets with a focus on analytical rigor and clarity.

• Establish KPIs, reporting workflows, dashboards, and data visualizations.

• Convert analytical findings into insights via interactive dashboards or custom web applications.

• Articulate technical concepts, findings, and data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to grasp business needs and transform requirements into analyses, experiments, and recommendations.

• Collect stakeholder requirements, perform technical due diligence, and design analytical solutions.

• Operate independently throughout the entire analytics lifecycle.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams on priorities, methodologies, and deliverables.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced/Fluent English proficiency.

• Demonstrated industry experience in developing predictive or inferential statistical models OR a Master’s/PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience in data science, data engineering, or analytical positions.

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python, with the capability to engage with each component across the full pipeline from data ingestion to insight.

• Hands-on experience in data analysis.

• Practical experience with experimentation and A/B testing.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools.

• Ability to operate with significant autonomy, managing analyses from start to finish.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging directly with stakeholders and converting business needs into analytical solutions.
