This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and assist with comprehensive Workday data conversion processes, which encompass source data evaluation, mapping, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with clients as well as functional, technical, reporting, and project teams to comprehend conversion needs, address data challenges, and synchronize data tasks with project timelines.
• Create and manage data workbooks, load files, validation reports, reconciliation outputs, and other documentation intended for clients.
• Lead or assist with data initiatives throughout testing phases, deployment preparation, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Evaluate team outputs for precision, quality, and compliance with Workday and The Groove delivery standards.
• Oversee assigned data workstreams, including scope, priorities, risks, dependencies, timelines, and delivery commitments.
• Detect data risks and issues promptly, formulate recommendations, and communicate escalations clearly and professionally.
• Guide client stakeholders through data-related decisions, requirements, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• Mentor and support team members through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing, and hands-on assistance.
• Contribute to The Groove's Data Services practice by developing reusable tools, templates, methodologies, and process enhancements.
• Foster strong client relationships and represent The Groove with professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday data conversion, Workday consulting, enterprise application delivery, or a similar field.
• Practical experience with Workday data conversion activities, including data mapping, transformation, tenant loads, validation, reconciliation, and data reporting.
• Experience in leading or managing data conversion workstreams within Workday implementations or similar projects.
• Proven experience in gathering requirements, facilitating design discussions, supporting testing, documenting solutions, and resolving data challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, accompanied by exceptional attention to detail.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and fulfill commitments.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote, distributed, and client-facing consulting environment.
• Current or previous Workday certification in a relevant product area is preferred.
• Experience working for a Workday partner or within a consulting, professional services, SaaS, or technology organization is preferred.
• Experience in supporting full-cycle Workday implementations, AMS or post-production engagements, optimization projects, or release-related activities is preferred.
• Experience leading data conversion activities across various Workday functional areas is preferred.
• Experience in developing reusable delivery assets, client documentation, training resources, or knowledge transfer materials is preferred.
• Experience collaborating with functional, technical, data, reporting, advisory, and project management teams is preferred.
