Staff Consultant, Business Analyst – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Demonstrating a consulting approach by functioning as a solution provider instead of merely fulfilling requests.

• Recognizing project/service stakeholders early on and collaborating with them to bridge the gap between business needs and Salesforce technical teams.

• Teaming up with Salesforce Architects and Developers to create scalable, best-practice solutions.

• Assessing solution feasibility in relation to Salesforce platform capabilities and project limitations.

• Developing and maintaining process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, and documentation.

• Actively participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Serving as a trusted advisor to users by clarifying Salesforce capabilities and the trade-offs of various solutions.

• Facilitating user adoption through training materials, user guides, and release notes.

• Evaluating existing Salesforce implementations and proposing process enhancements and optimization opportunities.

• Ensuring deliverables align with the benefits outlined in the business case.

• Planning, organizing, and supervising the project to provide high-quality business solutions.

• Defining project/service scope, managing objectives, risks, issues, and resources throughout the project lifecycle.

• Mentoring and managing team members by offering continuous on-the-job feedback and guidance.

• Guaranteeing that project work quality adheres to defined governance, process standards, and best practices.

• Reporting on the status of all key metrics (e.g., risk, scope, schedule, quality, customer satisfaction) from initiation to closure.

• Assisting the account management team in addressing new project requests.

• Identifying opportunities within the current engagement to cross-sell or upsell Nagarro’s offerings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Total Experience: 6+ years.

• Strong experience in requirements analysis and elicitation.

• Comprehensive understanding of agile fundamentals and methodology, RFP, wireframe, and prototype.

• Hands-on functional expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce standard objects such as Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Cases, and associated processes.

• Experience with Salesforce configurations including Flows, Validation Rules, Assignment Rules, Approval Processes, and Reporting.

• Ability to conduct change impact analysis and support release/change management activities.

• Understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and access control at a functional level.

• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and middleware concepts (functional understanding).

• Experience in Business Analysis functions with a solid technical understanding, including the creation of BRDs, FSDs, and coordination for both functional and non-functional requirements and testing.

• Proficient in use case/story preparation, process flow diagrams, and relationship diagrams such as flow charts and methodologies.

• Knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for the agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.

• Effective communication skills for interfacing with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.

• A passion for developing exceptional solutions.

• Mentoring team members to meet client needs while holding them accountable for high delivery standards.

• Ability to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting situations.
