Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Assist the Senior BA in gathering and analyzing requirements during the Discovery phase.

• Help in creating essential project documents (SRS, WBS, Feature List, user stories, flow diagrams, mind maps).

• Engage actively in client meetings: take organized notes and formulate clarifying questions.

• Aid in RFX analysis by examining documentation, pinpointing gaps, and supporting WBS development.

• Assist in internal estimation processes and pre-sales discussions.

• Conduct research on competitors and support scope analysis under supervision.

• Develop and maintain organized requirements documentation (SRS, User Stories with Acceptance Criteria, WBS).

• Ensure that requirements and project documentation are regularly updated according to versioning standards.

• Help manage the backlog in Jira (creating and updating tasks based on approved modifications).

• Monitor scope changes and raise any discrepancies when they arise.

• Participate in grooming, sprint planning, and estimation sessions.

• Clarify requirements with developers and QA engineers.

• Oversee the implementation of approved changes and conduct basic business validation in staging/UAT environments.

• Proactively communicate risks, obstacles, and scope changes to the Senior BA/PM.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Business Analyst in the IT sector.

• Familiarity with requirements documentation (SRS, WBS, User Stories).

• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

• Proficient in using Jira and Confluence.

• Upper-Intermediate+/Advanced proficiency in English (both written and spoken).

• Strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and attention to detail.

• Capable of working under mentorship and adhering to established processes.
