Staff AI/ML Scientist – Conversational AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create and evaluate multi-turn, state-aware conversational systems utilizing LLM reasoning loops along with multi-agent orchestration frameworks.

• Incorporate new frameworks and the latest advancements in generative and agentic AI.

• Advocate for best practices in AI/ML while mentoring less experienced team members.

• Direct functional teams and initiatives to enhance the adoption of Conversational AI.

• Utilize Python, MLflow, Azure stack, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks to deliver comprehensive AI solutions.

• Develop, benchmark, and sustain AI/ML models.

• Collaborate with customers to assess their needs and propose solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and add business value.

• Stay updated on technology trends in AI and apply insights to EcoVadis challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics/Applied Math, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Computational Linguistics).

• Over 8 years of experience in machine learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP), including at least 4 years focused on Conversational AI in production settings.

• In-depth understanding of agentic frameworks with a proven history of developing autonomous or semi-autonomous agentic systems at scale.

• Experience leading end-to-end AI projects in industry, encompassing design, implementation, and integration, while applying best software development practices.

• Strong mentoring capabilities and responsibility for the high quality and timely execution of the initiatives they oversee.

• Cross-functional collaboration experience in the creation of AI-powered products.

• Experience in developing conversational interfaces for complex enterprise domains is advantageous.

• A record of peer-reviewed publications in prestigious NLP/AI venues is a plus.

• Must be eligible to live and work in Spain.
