This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Create tools, alerts, and automated responses to proactively detect and mitigate reliability risks.

• Develop and maintain automation, alerting mechanisms, and self-healing solutions.

• Manage and support cloud infrastructure along with production environments.

• Ensure environments are secure, stable, and consistently updated.

• Configure and sustain application servers in accordance with technical and security standards.

• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and resolve infrastructure and application challenges.

• Work in collaboration with development teams to enhance and uphold CI/CD pipelines and processes.

• Create scripts and workflows to automate routine operational tasks.

• Contribute to initiatives that enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Develop and maintain both technical and operational documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.

• Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform, ideally Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Solid understanding of Linux environments.

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Kibana, or Elasticsearch.

• Experience in working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Git and source-control platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.

• Experience in scripting and automating infrastructure/operations tasks.

• Familiarity with YAML and JSON configuration files.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Understanding of production support, incident management, and system reliability principles.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a remote setting.

• Proficient in English to work within an international team.

• Advanced junior to mid-level engineering experience.
