Site Reliability Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee systems and react to alerts, escalating concerns as necessary.

• Aid in incident management by adhering to established protocols and recording the necessary steps.

• Enhance and sustain documentation for processes and procedures.

• Create and manage automation scripts and tools.

• Acquire and implement best practices in site reliability engineering.

• Assist with application and service deployments, ensuring they are executed smoothly and reliably.

• Work alongside senior engineers to identify and resolve technical challenges.

• Streamline systems, build resilient infrastructure, and automate workflows to minimize manual tasks.

• Contribute to the reliability and performance of large-scale, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in software engineering.

• Familiarity with programming concepts and scripting languages.

• Strong enthusiasm for system administration and troubleshooting.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• A solid sense of ownership in managing incidents.

• Capability to thrive in a team setting and communicate effectively.

• Willingness to learn and advance in site reliability engineering.

• Experience with Ruby or Go is preferred.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred.

• Previous experience in SRE is an advantage.
