Sports Data Editor – English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough research and compile detailed data entries for sports events, tournaments, and leagues.

• Identify and establish new programs in the database as necessary.

• Perform research to gather comprehensive background information regarding sports events.

• Ensure the merging of identical and duplicate programs.

• Verify work and rectify any outstanding discrepancies.

• Guarantee that customer data sets are complete, timely, and free from errors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in Romania or Moldova.

• Knowledge of major European football leagues and a broader understanding of international sports coverage is advantageous.

• A university degree in a related field, such as Sports Management, Journalism, Business, or Data.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

• Proficient in working with data, databases, and online research tools.

• Very comfortable with data searching, computer usage, and database management.

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

• Eager to learn new tools and processes.

• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work within an international team.

• A strong passion for metadata and sports.
