Speech Language Pathologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough speech and language therapy, evaluations, consultations, and assistive technology support through secure and compliant teletherapy platforms.

• Conduct, score, and analyze comprehensive speech-language assessments utilizing approved tele-assessment tools and virtual observation protocols.

• Engage in virtual multidisciplinary evaluation team meetings, contributing eligibility data and service recommendations.

• Create electronic evaluation reports that incorporate assessment findings, clinical observations, and input from teachers and parents.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy that aligns with IEP goals during individual and small-group teletherapy sessions.

• Design virtual lesson plans utilizing curriculum-based materials, multimedia tools, and interactive digital resources.

• Execute tiered interventions within MTSS frameworks, including virtual small groups, social skills groups, language enrichment, and lunch bunch interventions.

• Gather and assess progress-monitoring data, making necessary adjustments to interventions.

• Collaborate remotely with educators, families, and special education teams.

• Suggest classroom accommodations, modifications, and communication-related assistive technologies, such as AAC systems.

• Oversee Speech-Language Pathology Assistants when assigned.

• Maintain secure electronic documentation, progress reports, session notes, and IEP records.

• Comply with IDEA, FERPA, HIPAA, ASHA standards, and relevant state-specific regulations.

• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards during remote interactions and usage of digital platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree or higher in the relevant field.

• ADHS license and ADE PreK–12 SLP Certification.

• Valid state-specific professional license, if necessary, permitting practice within educational and/or clinical environments.

• Must reside in AZ, NV, TX, or SC.

• Successful completion of a criminal history background check is mandatory.

• Active state-specific licensure is required.

• Continuing education is necessary, including competencies related to tele-practice service delivery.

• Capability to sit for extended periods and utilize computer-based therapy tools.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence – SLP is preferred.

• Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist is preferred.
