This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and operational tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales targets, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Establish strong customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call planning objectives and conduct post-call assessments.

• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to successfully close sales calls.

• Address customer requirements and foster trusted partnerships.

• Create and implement call plans to maximize customer coverage and sales potential.

• Gain insights into customer needs, territorial dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical knowledge, and sales expertise.

• Communicate market intelligence with in-field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a related business field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required if a bachelor's degree is not held, with at least three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred.

• A high school diploma/GED is required when using experience instead of a bachelor's degree.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive landscape.

• Strong business insight and adeptness in utilizing business tools.

• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.

• Capability to adapt sales techniques to various customer styles and behaviors.

• Proficiency in developing sales strategies and innovative solutions.

• Effectiveness in operating within a matrix organizational structure.

• Experience in leadership and peer coaching.

• Proven success in leadership and support roles of increasing responsibility.

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.

• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing, for non-English-speaking countries.

• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.

• Must be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain necessary credentials.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must comply with safe driving standards.
