This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and sales initiatives in the field.

• Oversee the designated territory and manage targeted accounts.

• Cultivate customer relationships while identifying their needs.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Develop pre-call strategies and carry out post-call assessments.

• Address objections and ensure calls to action are secured during sales presentations.

• Formulate and execute call plans to enhance customer engagement and sales prospects.

• Evaluate customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical data, and sales metrics.

• Provide market insights to field teams, brand management, and sales leadership.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare professionals.

• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.

• Comply with AbbVie’s business conduct, policies, and relevant laws.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience required.

• In absence of a bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector preferred, alongside a high school diploma/GED required.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.

• Strategic and analytical thinking skills.

• Capability to adjust selling techniques according to customer styles and behaviors.

• Demonstrated sales achievements and effective presentation abilities.

• Competence to work efficiently in a matrix environment.

• Experience in leadership and support roles at district, regional, or organizational levels.

• Experience within the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
