This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Implement AbbVie’s brand strategies and tactics within the designated territory.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and secure calls to action to successfully close sales conversations.
• Address customer needs and foster trusted relationships with clientele.
• Create and implement call strategies to enhance coverage and frequency with key accounts.
• Gain an understanding of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease states, products, clinical data, and sales techniques.
• Provide market insights to in-field teams, brand, and sales departments.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition among healthcare professionals.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Collaborate with specialty physicians, pharmacists, nurses, in-field team members, sales leadership, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
• Alternatively, a minimum of five years of relevant and equivalent industry experience is needed, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sector.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Demonstrated history of sales achievement.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Capacity to modify selling techniques to align with customer styles and behaviors.
• Capability to devise innovative solutions and optimize business opportunities.
• Leadership and support experience at district, regional, or organizational levels is beneficial.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector is preferred, including physician/account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be eligible for necessary credentials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Possess the ability to drive a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe-driving criteria.
