This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
⢠Implement AbbVieās brand strategy and sales initiatives in the field.
⢠Oversee the assigned territory and target accounts to optimize both short- and long-term sales outcomes.
⢠Achieve sales performance goals, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing targets.
⢠Develop pre-call strategies using SMART objectives and conduct evaluations after calls.
⢠Address objections and secure calls to action to finalize sales discussions.
⢠Respond to customer needs and foster reliable customer relationships.
⢠Formulate and execute call plans to enhance customer coverage and frequency.
⢠Gain insights into customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales methodologies.
⢠Relay market intelligence to in-field teams, brand, and sales management.
⢠Highlight AbbVieās value proposition to healthcare providers.
⢠Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
⢠Collaborate with in-field colleagues, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand stakeholders.
⢠A bachelorās degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
⢠If lacking a bachelorās degree: a minimum of five years of experience, with three or more years preferred in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.
⢠High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
⢠Demonstrated success in sales is essential.
⢠Strong presentation abilities are required.
⢠Capability to adjust selling techniques based on customer style and behavior.
⢠Ability to devise innovative solutions and capitalize on business opportunities.
⢠Experience in leadership and support roles at the district, regional, or organizational level.
⢠Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred, including account-based selling, training, managed healthcare, or marketing.
⢠Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
⢠Must meet the applicable HCIR credentialing standards and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.
⢠Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
⢠Strong business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
⢠Capability for strategic and critical thinking.
⢠Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
⢠Valid driverās license is necessary.
⢠Must be able to drive a personal vehicle or company vehicle/equipment.
⢠Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
