This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Works in collaboration with clinic teams, specialists, prior authorization, and revenue integrity personnel.
• Ensures that all necessary clinical information is accurately compiled for the submission of prior authorization requests and subsequent approvals.
• Assesses off-label treatment plans for adequate clinical justification.
• Confirms signatures on provider notes and the dates of treatment plans.
• Addresses issues as they arise and maintains direct communication with patients.
• Tackles insurance obstacles and clarifies the next steps related to treatment.
• Acts as a knowledge resource for prior authorization and delivers educational support to the team.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is mandatory.
• A Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with a significant portion of the costs covered by Ohio State.
