This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Act as the main contact for communication with contracted specialty pharmacy partners and internal patient access roles.
• Oversee follow-ups with specialty pharmacy partners and internal stakeholders to address issues, eliminate access barriers, and fulfill patient requirements.
• Develop collaborations with specialty pharmacies to enhance patient access, improve patient experiences, and optimize the patient journey.
• Prepare and distribute weekly data tracking tools to provide internal stakeholders with visibility into specialty pharmacy cases.
• Assist in initiatives aimed at improving the quality of specialty pharmacy data.
• Conduct scheduled discussions with specialty pharmacy partners regarding escalated or stalled patient cases.
• Monitor issues until they are resolved.
• Aid in escalations related to the copay card program and claims resolution.
• Assess and innovate processes concerning specialty pharmacy relationships.
• Keep abreast of HUB business regulations, the patient journey, and HUB communication materials intended for patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Identify and communicate trends or insights that could adversely affect BESREMi access to Patient Access leadership.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HUB, specialty pharmacies, and market access colleagues.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Direct experience working for or with specialty pharmacies.
• High level of proficiency in utilizing data and analytics tools and platforms.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty pharmacy, case management, patient access, or HUB vendor relationship management.
• Strong understanding of insurance, reimbursement, and the payer landscape as it pertains to specialty pharmacies, PBMs, and pharmacy benefit design.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, and capability to multi-task while delivering results in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt swiftly to evolving business, customer, and patient needs or requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to approximately 10% of the time.
• Preferred: experience in presenting information to senior leadership and organizational stakeholders.
• Preferred: prior experience with oncology, rare diseases, or specialty therapies.
• Preferred: experience in pharma or biotech patient services.
• Preferred: vendor management experience.
