Senior Manager – Pharmacy Economics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and present analytics, reporting, and business insights that aid CVS Health's Retail Trade organization and its partnerships with manufacturers.

• Act as the subject matter expert in data sourcing, reporting, and analytics for the Retail Trade organization.

• Extract, validate, reconcile, and integrate data from various internal and external platforms.

• Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.

• Monitor, assess, and communicate the performance of ESPO and other programs.

• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for optimization.

• Generate actionable insights to quantify, justify, and enhance the value provided to pharmaceutical manufacturer partners.

• Assist in crafting business cases and analytical materials for discussions and growth opportunities with manufacturers.

• Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting packages for Trade leadership, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Finance to ensure alignment between operational performance, reporting outputs, and financial results.

• Work closely with Trade, Analytics, Data Science, Operations, and other internal teams.

• Translate large, complex datasets into clear recommendations for leadership.

• Develop performance metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks.

• Support quarterly business reviews, executive presentations, and reporting materials for manufacturers.

• Enhance reporting processes, data infrastructure, automation, and analytical capabilities.

• Contribute to shaping the data and analytics strategy for Retail Trade.

• Represent Retail Trade Analytics in engagements with manufacturers, quarterly business reviews, and strategic business discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance, healthcare, retail, or a related area.

• Proven experience in working with large datasets and converting data into actionable business insights.

• Experience in developing dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Advanced proficiency in data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization.

• Experience handling large, complex datasets across various systems and data environments.

• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and reconciliation processes.

• Experience in supporting manufacturer partnerships, trade analytics, pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or similar commercial functions.

• Advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or comparable analytics platforms.
