This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.
• Perform outbound outreach to members, providers, and pharmacies to aid in medication adherence and enhance quality improvement initiatives.
• Recognize and tackle barriers that affect CMS Stars measures and the health outcomes of members.
• Collaborate with members, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams to enhance medication access and resolve healthcare-related issues.
• Inform members about medication adherence and involvement in quality programs.
• Organize prescription refills and assist with any issues that hinder medication access.
• Oversee daily outreach activities, productivity targets, and work queues while upholding quality standards.
• Accurately document interactions and ensure confidentiality, regulatory, and organizational compliance.
• Utilize data and reporting to pinpoint intervention opportunities and enhance performance.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives aimed at improving member experience and quality outcomes.
• Prioritize tasks and manage various initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Act as a liaison among members, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams to support CMS Stars initiatives, including MTM, Medication Adherence, SUPD, and other quality programs.
• Applicants must reside in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, or Nevada.
• Candidates living or intending to live in California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Washington will not be considered.
• Proven experience in a pharmacy or government benefits support role.
• Proven ability to meet performance standards for a Pharmacy Government Specialist II.
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Proven ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Proven ability to solve problems and work under pressure.
• Proven proficiency in navigating computer systems, typing, and utilizing technologies.
• Proven experience in mentoring or training related to pharmacy or government benefits.
• Current National Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
• Comfortable spending substantial time on the phone and conducting approximately 80% outbound outreach.
• Ability to quickly build rapport and apply motivational interviewing techniques.
• Ability to see and read information, labels, documents, and monitors.
• Ability to communicate verbally and comprehend spoken information promptly and accurately.
• Manual dexterity for frequent computer usage and typing.
