Specialty Equipment Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Manual removal of vegetation from work sites.

• Safely operating a variety of forestry equipment, including woodchippers, hydraulic machinery, and chainsaws.

• Conducting line clearance, pruning, and tree removals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid CDL is required.

• Experience with Jarraff is necessary, with a preference for a minimum of 5 years in the field.

• Ability to work 45 hours per week.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.

• A current and valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.

• Must be capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role, such as walking on uneven terrain and lifting 75 lbs.

• Willingness to work at heights up to 75 feet.

• Eagerness to learn how to safely operate a bucket truck and other equipment.

• Must be willing and able to obtain a CDL A or B license.

• Commitment to acquiring and maintaining necessary licenses and certifications for career advancement within the position.

• Ability to successfully complete a post-offer physical exam, drug screening, and background and motor vehicle checks.
