Specialty Clinical Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Delivers thorough pharmaceutical care to patients.

• Assists in various specialty areas, potentially including immunology, neurology, and pulmonology.

• Engages in a multidisciplinary team by attending patient care rounds and evaluating drug therapies.

• Aids in department staffing by providing coverage for supplemental shifts.

• Ensures prompt processing of medication orders and performs medication profile evaluations.

• Reports medication-related incidents and takes part in safety reviews.

• Conducts medication reconciliation during admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Guides pharmacy residency programs and mentors clerkship students.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

• Licensed Pharmacist by the State Board of Pharmacy in the primary practice state.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) as required.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and/or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications as necessary.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
