Specialized Research Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer service to merchants concerning Merchant Credit Card processing and other designated areas.

• Address telephone inquiries, requests, and concerns from merchants.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot service, authorization, and credit card processing terminal issues.

• Offer merchants solutions to resolve processing challenges.

• Communicate relevant policies, procedures, and practices to merchants.

• Advocate for exceptions to policies and procedures on behalf of merchants when appropriate and within defined limits.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Generally, one to two years of experience in customer service.

• Comprehensive knowledge of products, services, problem-solving practices, applicable regulations, systems, and procedures.

• Strong telephone, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.

• Capability to manage challenging customer calls effectively.

• Skill in identifying and resolving or escalating complex issues.

• Proficient in navigating various software applications, including Microsoft Office.

• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

• Effective time management skills.

• Ability to adhere to U.S. Bank policies and procedures, including the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and related workplace conduct and safety policies.
