Specialist, Transfer Pricing Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Support the implementation of transfer pricing systems that comply with BEPS standards.

• Prepare and submit transfer pricing documentation, including Master Files and Local Files.

• Oversee deadlines and filing requirements globally in accordance with statutory laws and OECD guidelines.

• Assist in the procurement and quality review of benchmark studies.

• Conduct license benchmark studies utilizing RoyaltyStat or ktMINE.

• Aid in the development and deployment of intercompany agreements that facilitate transfer pricing transactions.

• Provide guidance to multinational entities on the implementation of intercompany agreements.

• Analyze and compute tax adjustments, including those arising from unbilled recharges.

• Educate Freudenberg Group staff on transfer pricing governance issues, encompassing TP documentation and intercompany agreements.

• Offer ad hoc assistance to the Senior Manager of Transfer Pricing Compliance and the Director of Transfer Pricing and Global Tax Processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Tax Law.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a transfer pricing position within a large multinational corporation or a reputable tax consultancy, ideally in a Big 4 setting.

• Qualification in international tax.

• Strong understanding of OECD and specific country transfer pricing regulations and methods.

• Familiarity with IT systems, including ERP systems, consolidation systems, or Operational Transfer Pricing solutions.

• Experience with Business Process Mapping software, such as Signavio.

• Proficiency in TP documentation systems and tools like PwC globalDoc.

• Knowledge of database solutions such as TP Catalyst or RoyaltyStat is a plus.

• Excellent organizational skills and a keen interest in enhancing processes and workflows.

• Willingness to learn new technologies, share ideas, and continually improve existing processes.

• Capacity to develop expertise in Transfer Pricing and take accountability for assigned responsibilities.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, and contribute to projects while enhancing professional knowledge and skills.

• High standard of personal integrity and comfort in handling ambiguity.

• Capability to balance effective governance with high-quality service delivery.

• Strong communication abilities, with the talent to convey complex topics simply and clearly to TP non-experts, while being sensitive to cultural differences.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Additional language skills, such as German, are a plus.
