• Deliver significant customer value and maintain year-over-year sales growth by selling D&B Sales & Marketing solutions (S&MS) to current clients.
• Generate new business sales.
• Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities.
• Engage in business discussions to pinpoint stakeholders, business processes, martech stack & architecture, KPIs, and critical success factors relevant to an opportunity.
• Collaborate with clients to discover the optimal solutions for their business challenges and assess the financial and operational risks of not addressing these challenges.
• Partner with the Account Executive to create, propose, and sell solutions that set D&B apart and meet the client’s specific business needs.
• Collaborate with internal D&B specialist roles/groups as necessary to devise the most effective client solution, such as Solutions Architects and Digital Specialists.
• Conduct demonstrations when needed and establish service level agreements (SLAs).
• Engage in Account Planning, Business Reviews, and Quarterly Solutions reviews as necessary.
• Participate in industry and company-sponsored events and panels to showcase D&B's thought leadership in this sector.
• Build strong relationships with C-level and senior executives of clients to enhance the value and business impact of solutions.
• Utilize use cases, best practices, and application knowledge to craft comprehensive ROI analyses for clients.
• Collaborate closely with others within D&B to deliver value and ensure that our approach aligns with our strategic goals.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proven expertise in assisting senior marketing and sales operations professionals in developing data-driven sales and marketing strategies that effectively drive revenue.
• A passion for data is essential; experience in database marketing and management is a plus.
• A strong understanding of Marketing and Advertising Technology (Martech & Adtech) is necessary.
• A demonstrated understanding of digital marketing and omnichannel marketing tactics is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of successful sales experience in a consultative/solution-oriented team-based selling environment, or 7 years in a senior marketing role focused on creating and executing marketing strategies.
• Results-driven, self-motivated individual capable of influencing various role levels, prioritizing tasks, and owning outcomes in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Proven ability to drive new large-dollar engagements in a complex environment.
• Competence in managing and reporting on opportunities throughout different stages of the sales pipeline.
• Ability to accurately report and reflect business development activities for precise forecast reporting.
• Capable of delivering clear, concise, and effective communications in both written and verbal formats to internal and external audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate alternative solutions that align with our core assets and address the customer’s business needs.
