This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the monitoring and management of a portfolio comprising judicial and administrative proceedings with clients; assist in the review and drafting of procedural pleadings and legal documents broadly; and generate procedural and contingency reports utilizing the firm's proprietary system.
• Create and implement intricate legal instruments (necessitating thorough analysis, independence, effective delivery, and agility), evaluating risks, conducting legal assessments, and proposing optimal legal solutions to facilitate the attainment of the firm’s objectives.
• Plan and execute legal activities pertinent to civil, criminal, social security, and corporate law, focusing on contracts, intellectual property, and preventive law; generate legal studies and opinions, interconnected legal analyses, and doctrinal research relevant to various cases and other legal matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). A postgraduate degree or specialization in fields such as Corporate Law, Contract Law, or Civil Law; additional postgraduate education in Civil Procedure, Labor Procedure, or Labor Law is advantageous.
• At least 6 months of experience in general practice and debt collection/recovery, with expertise in Civil, Contract, Corporate, and Civil Procedure Law, Labor Procedure, and Labor Law, along with demonstrated experience managing complex judicial, civil, labor, and administrative proceedings.
• Proficiency in Civil and Procedural Law, legal research, drafting and preparation of procedural pleadings, case and deadline management, negotiation skills, and adherence to professional ethics.
