This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• The Head of Legal will oversee a team consisting of 2 contract lawyers, 1 regulatory/product lawyer, and an apprentice.
• Establish priorities, assign topics, guarantee the quality of outputs, and facilitate the professional growth of the legal team.
• Create structured rituals, key performance indicators, and collaborative practices with other departments to ensure the Legal function is recognized as a responsive and trustworthy business partner.
• Supervise and directly manage strategic contracts, which include B2B client agreements, partnerships, supplier contracts, and other related arrangements.
• Provide support to Product, Tech, Security, and Compliance teams on issues concerning trust services, digital identity, electronic signatures, and similar subjects.
• Offer guidance to Yousign on risk assessment, contracting, governance, and the regulatory ramifications associated with the implementation of AI.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Proven expertise in B2B, SaaS, technology, or service contract negotiations.
• Experience and interest in regulated environments; familiarity with eIDAS 2.0 and the AI Act is an advantage.
• Previous experience collaborating with Product/Tech and Compliance teams within an ISO 27001 framework.
• Demonstrated knowledge or hands-on experience utilizing AI to enhance internal productivity (daily professional application).
• A pragmatic, operational, and business-oriented approach, with the capability to simplify intricate legal matters.
• Proficiency in both French and English is essential.
